Design of Thinking® (DoT) approach Case Study Two

DIANA GREEN – VISIONLED GLOBAL
Industry: Content, Education & Publishing. (Japan)

Challenge: To maintain and increase market share and sales in the face of decreasing demand for product and services.

Problems: Ageing customer market, Loss of market share due to diminished popularity Disruptive market due to changes in technology

Project: To provide clarity of the current business gaps and challenges, to work with the managers across all areas for the best way to move forward to deal with the challenges.

What we did: Consultation with the client lead to a tailored change management /implementation program

Findings: Departmental managers and their teams were positive about the business and its culture.
The real problem was they lacked; initiative & confidence to try things the know how to connect to a younger market audience leadership and authority to move forward strategies that were innovative (kept doing more of the same risk-adverse)
